AceInterview AI ("we", "us", "our") operates the interview preparation platform at aceinterview.pro. We are committed to protecting your personal data.

2. Data We Collect

• Account data: Name, email address, authentication provider (Google or email)
• CV / Resume: The text content of your uploaded CV, stored to power AI coaching
• Job descriptions: Text you paste for analysis
• Session data: Interview transcripts, AI feedback, scores, and reports from your practice sessions
• Usage data: Pages visited, features used, session counts
• Payment data: Handled entirely by Paddle — we do not store card numbers or payment details

3. How We Use Your Data

• To provide and improve the interview coaching Service
• To personalize AI responses using your CV and job description
• To send transactional emails (welcome, billing receipts)
• To enforce plan limits and manage subscriptions
• To analyze aggregate usage and improve the product

We do not sell your personal data to third parties. We do not use your CV or session data to train AI models.

4. AI Processing

Your CV and job description are sent to Anthropic's Claude API to generate coaching feedback. Anthropic processes this data according to their Privacy Policy. Anthropic does not use your data to train their models under their API terms.

5. Third-Party Services

• Clerk — authentication (stores email, name, OAuth tokens)
• Supabase — database hosting (stores your sessions and profile)
• Paddle — payment processing (handles billing and tax)
• Anthropic — AI model API (processes CV and JD text)
• Vercel — hosting and serverless functions

6. Data Retention

We retain your account data and session history as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, your data is permanently deleted within 30 days. You can request deletion at any time by contacting us.

7. Your Rights

You have the right to: access your personal data, correct inaccurate data, request deletion of your data, export your session data, and withdraw consent. To exercise these rights, contact us at support@aceinterview.pro.

8. Cookies

We use essential cookies for authentication session management. We do not use tracking or advertising cookies.

9. Security

We use industry-standard security practices including HTTPS encryption, row-level security in our database, and service-role-only backend access. No system is 100% secure — please use a strong password and do not share your account.

10. Children

The Service is not directed to children under 16. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy. We will notify you of material changes by email. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance.
